Biografie
Yiheng Li, 1996 in China geboren, begann schon sehr früh in ihrer Kindheit bei ihrem Großvater Klavier spielen zu lernen. Im Alter von 11 Jahren wurde sie erstmals vom „Sichuan Conservatory of Music“ im chinesischen Provinz Chengdu entdeckt und anschliessend aufgenommen, womit sie ihren professionellen Laufbahn als Pianistin startete. Im Verlauf ihrer Kindheit und Jugend gewann sie insgesamt viele Preise bei der China National Piano Competition.An einer dieser Wettbewerbe lernte sie durch Zufall Prof. Bernhard Epstein kennen, welcher Dirigent und Leitung an der staatlichen Hochschule für Musik und darstellenden Kunst Stuttgart in Deutschland war. Dieser war äusserst beeindruckt vom Talent der damals 14 Jährigen, weshalb er vorschlug als Vormund sie nach Deutschland zur Erweiterung des musikalischen Wissens und der Fähigkeit mitzunehmen. Yiheng Li willigte ein und startete somit als Vorbereitung zum Studium zunächst in seiner Talentklasse an der staatlichen Hochschule für Musik und darstellenden Kunst Stuttgart.Bereits ein Jahr später erhielt sie schon die Zulassung für konsekutive Bachelor- und Masterstudiengänge an der Universität für Musik und darstellenden Kunst Wien, wobei sie als 15-Jährige die jüngste, aufgenommene Studierende des Jahres war. Während ihres Studiums in Wien folgte sie nacheinander die Professoren Michael Krist, Stefan Vlader, Markus Prause und Stephan Möller. Gleichzeitig konnte sie ebenfalls an zahlreichen, international bekannten Musikfestivals und Meisterkursen teilnehmen (Lilya Zilberstein, Kariné Poghosyan, Gen Matsuyama, Peter- Nagy, Antti Siirala, Nelita True, Alessio Bax,Sungsuk Kang, Chirstina Kiss , Mo Cheung-yu , Sun Yun , Boris Slutsky). Ab 2018 ging sie schliesslich in die Schweiz und führte ihr Studium bei Professor Eckart Heiligers an der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste fort, wo sie fortlaufend sich befinde.
Yiheng Li is a Chinese pianist, who has been studying Master of Performance (Piano) at the Zurich University of the Arts in Switzerland with Professor Eckart Heiligers since 2018. Born in China in 1996, she began learning to play the piano with her grandfather at a very early age. When she became 11, she was discovered for the first time by the Sichuan Conservatory of Music in the Chinese province of Chengdu, where she started her professional career as a pianist.
